About Us

Overview

The Employment Appeals Tribunal is an independent body bound to act judicially and was set up to provide a fair, inexpensive and informal means for individuals to seek remedies for alleged infringements of their statutory rights.

If you think that your employment rights have been infringed, you can refer a complaint to the Workplace Relations Customer Service of the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation who have responsibility for:

- information provision in relation to employment, equality and industrial relations rights and obligations,

- receipt and registration of all first instance complaints currently referred to the five workplace relations bodies,

- dealing with enquires concerning the status of complaints and associated procedures and processes.

Appeals of a Rights Commissioners Recommendation can be made on the T1B &T1C and implementation of a recommendation on the T1D, all to be returned to
